I have been looking forward to studying abroad since the start of my college career. My peers have spoken very highly of their experiences abroad and I am so excited! I will be spending the semester in Sevilla, a city in Spain famous for being the area in which Flamenco dancing originated. I have the amazing opportunity of staying with a host family during my time in Spain as well.

Being born and raised in Hawaii, I am accustomed to and familiar with Asian culture. Although I love Asian cuisine and enjoy the culture very much, I wanted to give myself the ability to have unique first-time experiences. I traveled to Europe briefly as a small child but have no memory of my time spent there. This time around, I plan on learning more about the history of the places I visit and I am eager to make friends and talk story with the locals!
